Music-In-Schools (MIS) is looking for music educators to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year to teach beginning level piano, violin, and guitar. MIS is an instrumental music education program offering individual lessons and some group classes (size varies, generally small) on-site at our Chicagoland partner schools.
We are looking for enthusiastic and open-minded educators interested in teaching students ages 5 and up. We are hiring music teachers who want to expand their horizons - ability to teach beginning and (low) intermediate piano, violin, cello, and guitar is strongly preferred. We have a particular need for piano teachers, but are also accepting applicants for violin, guitar, and cello. Curriculum resources and assistance are available to learn the fundamentals for beginner level teaching of all four instruments.
